What This Policy Covers
This policy covers how the FBA treats personal information that the FBA collects and receives, including information related to your use of FBA websites, products and services ("the Service"). Personal information is information about you or your business that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that the FBA does not own or control, or to people that the FBA does not employ or manage.
Information Use and Collection
The FBA collects business and personal information when you register with the FBA, when you use FBA products or services, when you visit FBA pages or the pages of certain FBA partners, and when you enter FBA promotions or sweepstakes. FBA may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, billing address, zip code, and reasons for joining. Once you register with the FBA and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
The FBA uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for partners and service providers.
Personal Information Collected
Log Data. When you use our Service, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website, along with data about your usage of the Service. Information Disclosure and Sharing
The FBA does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
- We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with the FBA under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help the FBA communicate with you about offers from the FBA and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information. The FBA works with vendors, partners, advertisers, and other service providers in different industries and categories of business.
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of FBA's terms of service, or as otherwise required by law.
FBA Communication
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the FBA service, such as service announcements, administrative messages, and the FBA Newsletter, that are considered part of your FBA membership, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
Information Storage and Protection
All data collected related to our Service is stored securely by our website servers, and by our industry-leading data partners including Google, Infusionsoft, MailChimp, and SurveyMonkey.
We employ administrative and electronic measures designed to appropriately protect your personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, unauthorized alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, misuse, and any other unlawful form of processing of the personal Information in our possession. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot guarantee that information about you will not be accessed, viewed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our administrative, physical, and electronic safeguards, subject to requirements under applicable law to ensure or warrant information security.

When determining the retention period, we take into account various criteria, such as the type of products and services requested by or provided to you, the nature and length of our relationship with you, possible re-enrollment with our products or services, the impact on the services we provide to you if we delete some information from or about you, mandatory retention periods provided by law and the statute of limitations.
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
Your Rights and Choices
You may update your communication and account preferences at any time. You may also request data removal by contacting us. Administrative communications are required to maintain access to the Service; however, you may cancel the Service at any time.
Changes to this Policy
The FBA may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your FBA membership or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
